Shimmer
Our Shimmer system is a wireless system that allows to measure, on several people simultaneously, different signals related to their physiological activity. We currently have GSR+ sensors (photos left and center below) and ECG/EMG sensors (photo right below). Website: www.shimmersensing.com.

Shimmer System Features
- Model Shimmer3
- ConsensysPRO Software
- 2 GSR+ sensors allow to record simultaneously on 2 persons the following signals :
- electrodermal activity (EDA for electrodermal activity, or GSR for galvanic skin response) which after treatment can provide an indicator of emotional intensity and more specifically of the level of arousal. Data recorded with or without disposable electrodes (with or without consumables).
- heart rate, measured by photoplethysmography (PPG; no consumables).
- movements, thanks to an integrated accelerometer and gyroscope (no consumables).
- 3 ECG/EMG sensors allow the following signals to be recorded simultaneously on 3 persons
- cardiac activity (ECG for electrocardiogram), or muscle activity (EMG for electromyogram) using disposable electrodes (consumables)
- respiratory activity (no consumables)
- movements, thanks to an integrated accelerometer and gyroscope (no consumables).
- The Shimmer system can be used in all areas of the platform and outside the platform (indoor/outdoor)
Applications and projects
- Identification of physiological markers of post-traumatic stress disorder in professionals exposed to traumatic events.
- Attentional processes in long and monotonous driving situations
- Neuromarketing: Emotional impact of a marketing video sequence

Biopac
Our Biopac physiological activity measurement system allows the simultaneous recording of four of the following signals:
- heart rate
- Electrodermal activity (EDA for electrodermal activity) which is an indicator of emotional state and more precisely of the level of arousal (arousal).
- Respiratory rate
- body temperature
- cardiac activity (ECG for electrocardiogram), muscle activity (EMG for electromyogram), brain activity (EEG for electroencephalography), or eye activity (EOG for electro-oculography)

Features of the Biopac system
- Model Biopac MP36R
- Acknowledge software (version 5 with dongle)
- 5 sensors for a maximum of 4 acquisition channels:
- SS4LA sensor: plethysmograph belt to measure heart rate on the finger (no consumables)
- SS57L sensor: EL507 disposable cable and electrodes to be placed on 2 fingers to record the electrodermal response.
- Sensor SS5LB: breathing belt (no consumables)
- SS6L sensor: temperature (no consumables)
- SS2LB sensor: EL503 disposable cable and electrode set for recording ECG, EEG, EMG and EOG.
- The Biopac system can be used in all areas of the platform and outside the platform (indoor/outdoor)
Applications and projects
- Identification of physiological markers of post-traumatic stress disorder in professionals exposed to traumatic events.
- Attentional processes in long and monotonous driving situations
- Neuromarketing: Emotional impact of a marketing video sequence
